NATO allies have committed over 21 billion euros in long-term military aid to Ukraine, according to British Defense Secretary John Healey. This record support comes amid growing uncertainty over US backing for Ukraine.
The pledges, made during the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting, aim to send a clear message: we stand with Ukraine in the fight and in the peace, Healey said. Germany, the UK, and the Netherlands have made significant contributions, with 11 billion euros pledged by Germany through 2029.
