I’m just going to say it, the Trump administration is at it again, because of course they are, threatening to pull funding from schools that allow “illegal protests” – you know, the kind where people actually exercise their First Amendment rights. And, cutting $400 million in federal grants to Columbia University, because, you know, why not?
But wait, it gets better, Trump is now talking about mass deportations of immigrants, and including legal immigrants in this attack on the First Amendment, because, why bother with due process, right? And, let’s not forget, this is all part of his plan to, you know, “make America great again”, by selling a bunch of hats and… stuff.
And, can we talk about the fact that the first person to be arrested is an Algerian citizen of Palestinian origin, Mahmoud Khalil, which, you know, might just be a coincidence, but probably not. I mean, come on, where’s the outrage from the Democrats? Are they just going to sit back and watch as the Trump administration destroys the First Amendment?
But, hey, who needs free speech, anyway? It’s not like it’s a fundamental human right or anything. And, who cares if the Trump administration is targeting certain groups of people, that’s just, you know, a minor detail. I mean, we’ve all read 1984, right? This is just, you know, a normal, everyday, kind of thing.
And, let’s be real, the Trump administration is just trying to distract us from the real issues, like, you know, the fact that they’re cutting funding to important programs and trying to deport people who are just trying to live their lives. But, hey, who needs facts, anyway?
But, what’s really interesting is that the Trump administration is getting away with this, and it’s just, you know, business as usual. I mean, where’s the resistance? Where’s the outrage? Are we just going to sit back and watch as the Trump administration destroys our country?
And, can we talk about the fact that Trump is using his Twitter account to spread hate and misinformation? I mean, what’s the point of Twitter, anyway? Is it just a platform for people to spread hate and vitriol?
But, hey, at least we can all agree that the Trump administration is doing a great job of, you know, making America great again, right? I mean, who needs facts when you have a nice hat? And, who cares if the Trump administration is destroying our country, as long as we have, you know, good TV, right?
And, let’s not forget, this is all just a minor issue, compared to, you know, the real problems facing our country. I mean, who cares about climate change when we have, you know, mass deportations to worry about?
