President Donald Trump stated that Ukraine can “forget about” joining the NATO military alliance. He plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House to discuss the ongoing conflict with Russia.

Trump also announced plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to negotiate an end to the war, which started with Russia’s unprovoked military invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The meeting between Trump and Zelensky is expected to take place on Friday.
