Trump Insists His Hand Was Temporary Possessed by a Mischievous Spirit When He Signed Deportation Order

I’m just going to dive right into this, because, honestly, I have no idea how to start. So, the president (and I use that term loosely) said on Friday that “other people handled it,” referring to some proclamation that apparently has his signature on it – talk about a forgery! I mean, who needs personal responsibility when you can just blame it on “other people,” right?

And can we just take a moment to appreciate the sheer audacity of this statement? It’s like, hello, you’re the president, not some entry-level intern who can just pawn off their work on others. But I guess that’s just the kind of leadership we’ve come to expect from this administration – all U.S. News all the time, and not the good kind either.

But, I mean, what even is the point of being president if you’re just going to deny any accountability? Is it just a fancy title at this point? Like, “oh, I’m the president, but don’t look at me, I had nothing to do with it.” Give me a break. It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack, except the needle is accountability and the haystack is a giant pile of nonsense.

And don’t even get me started on the whole “other people handled it” excuse. Who are these mystical “other people” that seem to be running the show around here? Are they like some kind of Wizard of Oz situation, where the man behind the curtain is actually the one in charge? Inquiring minds want to know.

But, honestly, it’s not like we haven’t seen this kind of behavior before. It’s just another day in the life of a president who seems to be allergic to accountability. So, go ahead and try to deflect responsibility all you want, but at the end of the day, the buck stops with you, Mr. President. Or should I say, it stops with your signature, which apparently is just a ceremonial thing at this point.

And, on a completely unrelated note, has anyone tried those new extra caffeinated coffee beans? Because I feel like I’m going to need a lot of caffeine to get through the rest of this presidency. But, I mean, in all seriousness, it’s time for some real change, and that starts with holding our leaders accountable.

But, I guess that’s just the optimistic part of me talking. The pessimistic part is just over here, face-palming so hard it’s becoming a reflex at this point. And, honestly, who can blame me? It’s not like we’re living in some kind of utopia where our leaders are actually responsible and stuff. Nope, we’re stuck in some kind of dystopia where accountability is just a distant memory.

Anyway, that’s my rant for the day. Thanks for tuning in, folks. Don’t forget to send in your tips if you have any dirt on our fearless leader. And, who knows, maybe someday we’ll have a president who actually takes responsibility for their actions. But until then, I’ll just be over here, making sarcastic comments and drinking way too much coffee.
