I mean, seriously, what is wrong with this guy? Trump says Zelensky ‘should have never started’ war with Russia, like it’s that simple. As if Zelensky just woke up one morning and thought, “Hey, you know what would be a great idea? Starting a war with a superpower that’s been trying to annex my country for years!”
But, I guess that’s what happens when you have a history of questionable decisions. I mean, come on, Trump, have you even read a book on the subject? (Probably not, because, you know, reading is hard).
And, let’s be real, Trump’s got some nerve, don’t you think? I mean, this is the same guy who praised Putin’s actions in Ukraine just a few months ago. But, hey, who needs consistency when you’re a politician, right? (Sarcasm alert!).
So, what’s next? Is Trump going to tell us that the Russian invasion of Ukraine is actually a good thing? That it’s just a minor “border dispute” (his words, not mine)? Give me a break! This guy’s got some serious geopolitics homework to do.
And, by the way, has anyone noticed that Trump’s been tweeting about Ukraine non-stop lately? I mean, what’s his endgame here? Is he trying to distract us from his own investigations woes?
But, I digress. Back to Zelensky and his supposedly “starting” the war with Russia. I mean, are you kidding me? This is like blaming the victim of a mugging for “starting” the fight. Get real, Trump! Zelensky’s just trying to protect his country from Russian aggression.
And, let’s not forget, this is the same Trump who called Putin’s actions “genius”. Yes, you read that right. Genius. I guess that’s what happens when you have a soft spot for authoritarian leaders.
Anyway, where was I? Ah yes, Zelensky. So, Trump says he “should have never started” the war. But, what’s the alternative? Just roll over and let Russia annex Ukraine? I don’t think so! Zelensky’s got a message for Russia, and it’s not one of surrender.
And, by the way, has anyone noticed that Trump’s stance on Ukraine is, shall we say, a bit contradictory? I mean, on the one hand, he’s saying Zelensky should have never started the war. But, on the other hand, he’s praising Putin’s energy policies. Make up your mind, Trump!
But, I guess that’s what happens when you’re a master of chaos. You just make it up as you go along and hope nobody notices. Well, newsflash, Trump: we notice. And, we’re not buying it.
