Iranian-backed gangs in Sweden are allegedly recruiting children to carry out violent crimes, including attacks on the Israeli embassy. A 15-year-old boy was arrested en route to the embassy with a gun, while a 14-year-old boy fired shots near the embassy a day later.
The Swedish Security Service believes that Iran is using local gangs to plot attacks on Israeli and Jewish interests, with children being used as proxies due to their susceptibility to manipulation and lighter sentences. The situation has been described as a national disaster by the superintendent of the Swedish National Police, with gang violence and recruitment of minors becoming increasingly concerning issues in the country.
