Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof is meeting with European leaders in Paris to discuss the Ukraine situation. The meeting was called by French President Emmanuel Macron after US Vice President JD Vance’s controversial speech at the Munich Security Conference.
The Dutch Prime Minister has not ruled out participating in a peacekeeping force to protect Ukraine after a potential peace deal with Russia. The US has stated it will not contribute soldiers to any peacekeeping effort, but the Dutch involvement would require a clear mission mandate and US support in an emergency.
