Maxar Technologies, an American aerospace company, has restricted free access to its satellite imagery for Ukrainian users, reportedly due to a US ban on sharing intelligence with Ukraine.
The company’s policy change will impact the OSINT community, as users will now need to pay for access to satellite images, which were previously available for free, according to a statement from Maxar citing contractual obligations with the US government.
