Hanoi Summit: Vietnam and Russia Forge New Paths for Bilateral Cooperation

Vietnam and Russia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields, including politics, economy, and culture. The two countries have agreed to effectively implement the free trade agreement and accelerate the implementation of signed agreements and priority projects.

The diplomats also discussed regional and international issues, including the need to strengthen exchange of viewpoints and mutual support at international organizations and multilateral forums, such as the UN. Vietnam expressed its support for international mediation efforts to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict and sought a lasting peaceful solution with the engagement of all relevant parties.
