GOP Suddenly Develops Rare and Highly Contagious Case of Shutting the Heck Up

8 Min Read

Let’s get this straight, the Trump administration, which was once so vehemently opposed to Hillary Clinton’s email practices, is now guilty of the same thing. I mean, who needs national security when you can just use Gmail, right? And don’t even get me started on Signal – it’s like they want to make it easy for hackers to get their hands on sensitive information.

But, I guess The Washington Post did report that Mike Waltz, the National Security Advisor, used unsecured email accounts for official government business. I mean, what could possibly go wrong, right? It’s not like they’re discussing military operations or anything.

And, of course, the Republicans are being super quiet about this whole thing. I mean, they were so loud about Clinton’s email scandal, but now they’re just crickets. It’s like they’re saying, “Oh, it’s okay when we do it, but not when you do it.” One twitter user said it best: “But her emails, right? @HillaryClinton used a private server and y’all wanted her locked up for treason. Now we’ve got @michaelgwaltz and Governor Trump’s National Security Council using Gmail and Signal to discuss classified military operations—and the @GOP is real quiet.”

But, you know, hypocrisy is just a word, right? I mean, it’s not like the Trump administration is actually guilty of it or anything. And politics is all about being two-faced, right? So, let’s just move on and pretend like this never happened.

And, by the way, does anyone remember the email scandal surrounding Hillary Clinton? Yeah, that was a big deal, right? But, now that the Trump administration is guilty of the same thing, it’s just a minor infraction. I mean, what’s the big deal, right?

But, let’s get real for a second. This is a huge deal. We’re talking about national security here. We’re talking about sensitive information that could put lives at risk. And, the Trump administration is just being casual about it, like it’s no big deal.

And, can we please talk about the irony of this situation? The Trump administration, which was so opposed to Clinton’s email practices, is now guilty of the same thing. It’s like they’re saying, “Do as I say, not as I do.” One twitter user said: “But her emails, right? @HillaryClinton used a private server and y’all wanted her locked up for treason. Now we’ve got @michaelgwaltz and Governor Trump’s National Security Council using Gmail and Signal to discuss classified military operations—and the @GOP is real quiet.”

But, I guess we should just move on from this whole thing. I mean, it’s not like it’s a big deal or anything. Let’s just forget about it and pretend like it never happened.

And, by the way, if you’re interested in learning more about national security, I recommend checking out some books on the topic. It’s really interesting stuff.

But, let’s get back to the issue at hand. The Trump administration’s use of unsecured email accounts is a huge deal. It’s a national security threat, and it needs to be taken seriously. We can’t just brush it off and pretend like it’s no big deal.

But, I guess that’s just politics for you. It’s all about being two-faced and getting away with it.

And, finally, let’s talk about the consequences of the Trump administration’s actions. I mean, what’s going to happen to Mike Waltz and the rest of the administration? Are they going to get in trouble for their use of unsecured email accounts? Or are they just going to get a slap on the wrist and be told to “be more careful next time”?

But, I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens. Maybe the Trump administration will actually take national security measures seriously and do something about it. But, probably not.

And, on a completely unrelated note, have you guys seen the new TV shows on Amazon? They’re really good.

And, finally, let’s talk about the importance of national security. I mean, it’s not just about the Trump administration’s use of unsecured email accounts. It’s about the safety and security of our country. And, we need to take it seriously.

But, I guess that’s just my two cents. What do you guys think? Should the Trump administration be held accountable for their use of unsecured email accounts? Or is it just a minor infraction? Let me know in the comments.
