The first criminal trial for former President Yoon Suk Yeol is set to begin, 10 days after his removal from office over a martial law declaration.
Yoon will face insurrection charges and may receive a life sentence or the death penalty if convicted.
The trial will start on Monday, with Yoon required to attend and state his personal details before the prosecution presents the charges.
Key witnesses will also testify, including military commanders who received orders related to the martial law declaration.
