The EU-Ukraine Association Council has agreed to immediately implement a project to finance two million artillery shells for Ukraine’s defense. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this after discussions in Brussels.
The European Commission plans to allocate approximately EUR 800 billion for defense industry development and innovation, with Ukraine included as a candidate country. The Ukraine Assistance Fund will support the supply of weapons and advanced technologies to Ukraine, with the European Investment Bank providing EUR 300 million to restore energy and critical infrastructure.
