European Union leaders are set to meet in Paris on Monday, according to EU officials, to discuss emergency matters. The meeting was reportedly called by French President Emmanuel Macron, with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk traveling to the meeting at his invitation.
The meeting’s agenda and attendee list are not yet clear, but Polish Minister Sikorski emphasized the need for strength and unity among EU leaders in response to external pressures, referencing the Russian concept of razvedka boyem, or reconnaissance through battle.
