I’m so fed up with these billionaires and their tantrums, can’t they just get along? SEC should really do something about these public feuds, don’t you think? And by the way, has anyone tried decaf coffee, maybe it would help these guys chill out.
But I digress, so Musk is calling Walz a huge jerk, wow what a shock, a billionaire being petty on Twitter, who would have thought? (I mean, it’s not like we haven’t seen this movie before). Apparently, Walz was cheering about Tesla stocks crashing, and Musk just couldn’t handle it, CNBC has all the juicy details, if you’re into that sort of thing.
And let’s be real, Musk’s ego is almost as big as his bank account, so it’s no surprise he’s throwing a fit, I mean, who needs dignity when you’re a billionaire, right? But seriously, what’s next, are they going to start a playground insults war? “My stock is bigger than yours”, “no, mine is”, grow up guys, it’s just money.
But in all seriousness, this whole ordeal is just a huge distraction, from the real issues, like climate change and global health crises, you know, the things that actually matter, not some rich guys’ egos, can we please focus on something else for once? And by the way, has anyone seen that movie where the world ends, maybe we should all just take a cue from that and get our priorities straight.
And don’t even get me started on the hypocrisy, I mean, Musk is all about sustainable energy and saving the planet, but when it comes to his own interests, suddenly he’s all about the benjamins, Forbes has a great article on his net worth, if you’re interested in that sort of thing, (spoiler alert, it’s a lot). But what’s the point of having all that money if you’re just going to throw tantrums on Twitter, can’t he just use it to, I don’t know, feed the hungry or something?
But I guess that’s just the world we live in now, where billionaires get to dictate the narrative and the rest of us are just along for the ride, (or should I say, the rollercoaster ride, because that’s what it feels like). And by the way, can someone please explain to me why we care about what these guys think, I mean, aren’t there more important things in life, like space exploration or colonizing Mars, you know, the things that actually matter?
And what’s with all the Twitter drama, can’t these guys just have a civilized conversation, or is that too much to ask, I mean, it’s not like they’re five years old or something (although, sometimes it’s hard to tell), but seriously, can we please just have some respect for each other, and for the English language, which they seem to be butchering on a daily basis.
