Ugh, can you believe this guy? Elon Musk is at it again, throwing a tantrum because his candidate lost in the Wisconsin state Supreme Court race. And let’s be real, who tries to buy an election with $21 million? I mean, I know he’s got the cash to spare, but come on! It’s not like you can just buy elections on Amazon or something (although, who knows, maybe that’s next?).
And then, to make matters worse, he starts claiming that the election was “stolen” with “overwhelming” evidence. Oh really, Musk? What’s the evidence? A handful of conspiracy theories and some dodgy math? Give me a break! But hey, I guess when you’re used to getting your way, it’s hard to accept defeat.
But what’s even more hilarious is that he’s now latching onto a ballot initiative that enshrines a voter ID law in the state constitution. Um, isn’t that already a thing in Wisconsin? I mean, I’m no expert, but I’m pretty sure Pew Research Center says that voter ID laws enjoy broad bipartisan support. Maybe Musk should stick to running his companies instead of trying to be a political pundit.
And don’t even get me started on Alex Jones and Roger Stone. I mean, these guys are like the dynamic duo of conspiracy theories. They’re like two peas in a pod, except one pea is bankrupt and the other pea is a convicted felon. But hey, who needs credibility when you’ve got a platform, right?
I guess what’s most amazing is that Stone is still spouting off about election fraud, despite being a major figure in the “Stop the Steal” movement that tried to overturn the 2020 election. And The New York Times says he was a key player in the January 6th insurrection. But hey, I guess when you’ve got a conspiracy theory to sell, you’ve got to keep on selling it, no matter how ridiculous it sounds.
But in all seriousness, it’s pretty alarming that these guys are still out there peddling their nonsense. I mean, can’t they just accept the fact that they lost? It’s not like the PBS says that the conservative candidate, Brad Schimel, was all like “you’ve got to accept the results”? Maybe Musk and his friends should take a page out of Schimel’s book and just concede already.
And by the way, has anyone noticed that Alex Jones is getting divorced again? I mean, I’m no relationship expert, but maybe it’s because he’s too busy spreading conspiracy theories to actually have a functioning marriage. But hey, who knows, maybe he’ll find love again on Tinder or something.
Anyway, I guess that’s all for now. It’s just another day in the world of Elon Musk and his friends, where facts don’t matter and conspiracy theories reign supreme. But hey, at least it’s entertaining, right?
But seriously though, can we please just have some critical thinking for once? I mean, come on, people, let’s not be sheep and just blindly follow these conspiracy theories. Let’s actually look at the facts and make informed decisions. Is that too much to ask?
And finally, can someone please explain to me why Musk thinks he can just buy elections and get away with it? I mean, doesn’t he know that there are laws and regulations in place to prevent that kind of thing? But hey, I guess when you’re a billionaire, you think you can just do whatever you want, right?
But anyway, that’s my rant for the day. Thanks for listening, folks!
