Wow, just what we needed, another Elon Musk drama-filled day, because, you know, the guy doesn’t have enough on his plate, what with running Tesla and SpaceX into the ground, I mean, into the stratosphere.
But, I mean, seriously, who threatens Pentagon staff, and over what, a little “false information” leak to The New York Times? Is this guy for real? (By the way, have you seen the prices of Tesla stock lately? Wild ride, let me tell you).
And, okay, let’s take a step back here, because, apparently, Musk is all upset about this “false information” regarding his little visit to the Pentagon, which, of course, he claims is just a casual, totally-not-about-war-with-China, meet-and-greet, because, you know, that’s exactly what the Pentagon is for, right?
Now, I’m not saying that Musk doesn’t have a right to be upset about the leaks, but come on, threatening Pentagon staff? That’s like me threatening my coffee maker because it didn’t brew my coffee strong enough this morning (which, might I add, is a real concern, have you tried French Roast lately?).
Anyway, where was I? Ah yes, Musk and his Pentagon visit. So, apparently, Pete Hegseth invited him, and it’s all about “innovation, efficiencies & smarter production” (whatever that means), and not, you know, about China or anything (because, of course, that would be ridiculous, I mean, who needs to discuss China when you’re talking about “innovation” and “efficiencies”?).
And, of course, Donald Trump had to chime in, because, you know, he’s just that invested in Musk‘s visit to the Pentagon, and, apparently, the “Fake News” is at it again, spreading lies and whatnot (yawn).
But, let’s get real here, Musk does have a lot at stake, what with his SpaceX contracts and his Tesla business in China, so, I mean, it’s not like he’s just going to the Pentagon for a casual visit, there’s definitely more to it than that.
And, finally, because I just can’t resist, can we talk about Taiwan for a second? I mean, come on, China is just going to, what, take over Taiwan and no one is going to do anything? (I mean, I know that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but still).
Anyway, that’s all for now, folks, stay… just kidding, I’m not going to say that, because, you know, this is just a never-ending saga, and we’ll just have to wait and see what happens next with Musk and his Pentagon visit, and maybe, just maybe, we’ll get some answers (but probably not).
