Thousands of Czechs have donated millions to support Ukraine’s fight against Russia, following a public criticism of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy by Donald Trump. The donations spiked after the heated exchange between the two leaders.

The Czech initiative Gift for Putin has raised over €2.9 million, enough to purchase a Black Hawk helicopter for Ukraine, with the extra funds to be used for transportation to the country in need of modern air support.
