Chile is considering legalizing adult-use cannabis, with lawmakers introducing a measure to regulate its use. The bill would allow adults to cultivate up to six flowering plants and store up to 800 grams annually.
The proposed model is similar to those in Germany and Malta, permitting home cultivation and personal possession, but with greater limits. If approved, Chile would join a growing list of countries that have legalized cannabis for adult use, including Uruguay, Canada, and South Africa.
