I’m just going to say it, the White House is basically a branch of the Kremlin, and I’m not even being dramatic (or am I?). But seriously, have you seen the way they operate? It’s like they’re trying to make Vladimir Putin proud or something.
And don’t even get me started on the Senate Democrats who are finally speaking out against this alleged allegiance to the Kremlin. I mean, what took them so long? Were they too busy arguing over petty issues to notice the elephant in the room? (Or should I say, the Russian bear in the room?)
But I guess it’s better late than never, right? I mean, at least they’re trying to do something about it, even if it’s just a bunch of empty words. And hey, maybe they’ll even manage to pass some legislation that doesn’t completely embarrass the country. (Although, let’s be real, that’s a pretty low bar to set.)
And can we talk about how some politicians seem more interested in protecting their own careers than actually doing what’s best for the country? I mean, it’s like they’re more concerned with staying in power than actually serving the people who elected them. (Which, by the way, is just super disappointing.)
But anyway, back to the whole Kremlin thing. So, apparently, some experts are saying that the White House’s alleged ties to Russia are a major security risk. And I’m just over here thinking, no kidding. I mean, who wouldn’t think that having a foreign power pulling the strings from behind the scenes is a bad idea?
And don’t even get me started on the whole “arm of the Kremlin” thing. I mean, what’s next? Are we going to start calling the White House the “Moscow Annex” or something? (Although, to be fair, that does have a certain ring to it.)
But in all seriousness, this whole situation is just so frustrating. I mean, can’t we just have a transparent government for once? Is that really too much to ask? (I guess so, since we’re still waiting for that to happen.)
