I’m just going to dive right in here and say it: Chuck Schumer is in hot water, and I’m not just talking about the coffee I spilled all over my shirt this morning (which, by the way, is a real challenge to get out).
And let’s be real, it’s not like we didn’t see this coming – I mean, have you seen the state of the House Democrats lately? It’s like a bad reality TV show, but without the decent production values. But, I guess that’s what happens when you’ve got a party in disarray.
But, back to Schumer – apparently, there are growing calls for him to step down, which is just politics as usual, right? I mean, it’s not like we haven’t seen this play out before – just look at the history books.
And don’t even get me started on the infighting among the House Democrats – it’s like they’re a bunch of kids in a kindergarten classroom, except instead of playdough, they’re playing with taxpayer money. But, hey, at least they’re entertaining, right?
But, in all seriousness, the calls for Schumer to step down are getting louder, and it’s not just the House Democrats who are calling for his head. And, let’s be real, it’s not like he’s irreplaceable or anything – I mean, have you seen the bench they’ve got? It’s like a all-star team, but without the talent.
And, correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Schumer just get re-elected? Like, what, a hot second ago? I guess that’s just the attention span of the average politician these days – short, and sweet, just like a Kit Kat bar.
But, hey, what do I know? I’m just a caffeinated rant enthusiast, still trying to figure out what’s going on in this crazy world we live in. And, on that note, I’m going to go grab another cup of coffee, because, priority number one, right?
