Bernie Sanders is drawing lately? I mean, the man is like a rockstar, minus the guitar and questionable fashion choices. And don’t even get me started on his coast-to-coast tour – it’s like he’s trying to make a point or something.
But what’s really got me going is the fact that Sanders is speaking to overflowing crowds in conservative areas, and people are actually listening. I mean, it’s not like he’s preaching to the choir or anything (although, let’s be real, it’s mostly a choir of disgruntled Democrats and progressive politics enthusiasts). No, seriously, it’s like he’s actually trying to make a difference, and that’s just crazy talk. And have you seen the news lately? It’s like the world has gone mad.
And then, of course, there’s the fact that $1 trillion in tax cuts for the rich is just, you know, a normal Tuesday afternoon. I mean, who needs Medicaid or US Aid when you can just give more money to billionaires, right? It’s not like that’s going to, you know, hurt anyone or anything.
