I’m still trying to wrap my head around this whole debacle, and apparently, Bernie Sanders is not having it. And by “it,” I mean Elon Musk’s recent Twitter rant where he called Mark Kelly a “traitor” – because, you know, that’s exactly what you want from a billionaire with a bad haircut.
But let’s get real here, what’s “beyond the pale” is Musk’s ego, which seems to be growing at an exponential rate, like a science fiction novel come to life.
And don’t even get me started on the irony of the situation, I mean, who calls someone a traitor, except maybe in a history book or a bad action movie.
I’m not sure what’s more astonishing, the fact that Musk would stoop so low or that Bernie Sanders is still surprised by the vitriol spewing out of Musk’s Twitter account – I mean, has he not seen Musk’s tweet history?
But in all seriousness, it’s getting to the point where you need a dictionary to decipher the insanity that is Musk’s Twitter feed, and I’m starting to think that’s the point – to distract us from actual issues.
And by the way, can someone please explain to me why we’re still taking Musk seriously, like he’s some kind of genius instead of a rich guy with a social media account?
But, I guess that’s the world we live in now, where the lines between reality and satire are blurred, and we’re just along for the ride, watching as the world burns, or in this case, as Musk’s Twitter account implodes.
And don’t even get me started on the idea that someone can just call another person a traitor and face zero consequences – it’s like we’re living in some kind of dystopian novel, where the rule of law no longer applies.
But hey, at least we can all agree on one thing – Musk’s Twitter account is the gift that keeps on giving, like a never-ending story of absurdity and entertainment.
And can someone please explain to me why Mark Kelly is being called a traitor, like what did he do, win an election or something?
But in all seriousness, it’s time for us to take a step back and reevaluate what we’re doing here, because if we’re letting billionaires dictate the narrative and call people traitors willy-nilly, then we’ve got a problem on our hands.
And by the way, has anyone noticed that Musk’s tweets are starting to sound like a bad action movie, complete with melodrama and over-the-top plots?
But, I digress, the real question here is, what’s next, are we going to start calling each other traitors on the playground, like it’s some kind of game?
