Nation Horrified By Sudden Onset of Sanity: Democrats Baffled As to Why Everyone Isn’t Questioning Trump’s Mental State 24/7

5 Min Read

I am just so done with the escalating tariff war with China, it’s like, can’t we all just get along? But no, Donald Trump has to go and make things worse, because, why not, right? And then there’s his book, which I’m pretty sure is just a collection of his tweets printed out on paper.

And let’s talk about Rep. Jasmine Crockett, who’s all like “why isn’t anyone questioning Trump’s mental fitness?” Um, isn’t that just a little bit obvious? I mean, have you seen his tweets? But, I guess what she’s saying is that we should be worried about his mental health, and not just because of his tariff war.

But, wait, what was that about Joe Biden being called “Sleepy Joe”? Oh yeah, that was just a super original nickname given to him by conservatives, because, you know, that’s not a tired cliché at all (get it? tired? haha). And Crockett is all like “at least you could sleep at night” without worrying about your 401(k) disappearing, which, fair point, I guess.

And can we talk about how Apple was flying in planes of iPhones before the tariffs hit? Like, what even is that? Is that a thing? Do companies just do that when they’re expecting tariffs? I mean, I know I’d want to stock up on iPhones if I thought they were going to be, like, super expensive or something. Maybe I’ll just go buy a bunch on Amazon or something.

But, seriously, Crockett is right, voters seem to have “gotten amnesia” about Trump’s first term, which, like, wasn’t that great, if you ask me (or, like, pretty much anyone else). And while Democrats did win some elections recently, Crockett thinks they should have done even better, because, you know, Trump’s administration is just so incompetent (her words, not mine… or are they?).

And, honestly, can we just take a step back and look at the bigger picture here? Like, what’s going on with Trump’s mental health, really? Is he, like, okay? Should we be worried? (Just to clarify, I’m not a doctor, but I do play one on the internet). Maybe we should all just, like, take a deep breath and try to understand what’s going on here, instead of just, like, freaking out all the time.

But, let’s be real, it’s not like Trump is going to, like, suddenly become a rational and competent leader or anything (ha!). So, we’re just stuck with this tariff war and, like, whatever else he comes up with next. Joy.

And, on a completely unrelated note, have you guys seen that new coffee maker on Amazon? I mean, it’s like, whoa. I need it. Now. Anyway, back to Trump and his, like, crazy tariff war.

But, for real, Crockett does have a point about Joe Biden being called “Sleepy Joe”, because, like, that’s not even a real thing. And, like, maybe we should be worried about Trump’s mental health, instead of just, like, making fun of him all the time (not that I’m saying we shouldn’t make fun of him, because, like, come on). Maybe we should, like, try to understand what’s going on with him, instead of just, like, assuming he’s crazy or something.

And, finally, can we just talk about how Apple is, like, flying in planes of iPhones? Like, what even is that? Is that, like, a thing now? Do companies just do that when they’re expecting tariffs? Maybe I’ll just, like, start buying up all the iPhone accessories I can find, just in case.

Anyway, that’s my two cents on the whole tariff war thing. Take it for what it’s worth (which, let’s be real, is probably not much). But, like, seriously, can we just, like, try to understand what’s going on here? Instead of just, like, freaking out all the time? Maybe. Possibly. Hopefully.
