German Ambassador to India Dr Philipp Ackermann stated that the country’s relationship with India will continue under the new government, with potential boosts in areas such as the service sector, defence, and the free trade agreement with the European Union.
Germany is promoting free trade and is working to develop a free trade agreement with India, with the goal of reducing tariffs and increasing investment, according to Ackermann, who expressed confidence in the negotiation process led by the European Commission and India.
