White House Suddenly Discovers ‘Conflict of Interest’ in Investigation of Guy Who Gave Them Lots of Money

8 Min Read

I am just so done with the latest news about a Los Angeles-based federal prosecutor getting fired by the White House, allegedly because he was involved in a case against one of Trump’s top donors – you can read more about it on the Los Angeles Times website.

And let’s be real, this is not the first time we’ve seen something like this happen, but what’s really got my goat is that the prosecutor, Adam Schleifer, was reportedly fired via a one-line email – I mean, can you even imagine getting fired from your job like that, it’s like something out of a bad movie, and you can find more information about the email on the US Department of Justice website.

But, I digress, the real issue here is that Schleifer’s termination is suspected to be connected to his involvement in a case against Andrew Wiederhorn, the former CEO of Fat Brands Inc, who just so happens to be a big donor to Trump – and if you want to learn more about Andrew Wiederhorn, you can check out his book on Amazon, or read about his company on the Fat Brands Inc website.

And, of course, the White House is trying to spin this as some kind of effort to “clean house” and get rid of all the “leftist Trump haters” in the US Attorney’s office, but let’s not forget that Schleifer has been pretty vocal about his criticism of Trump – like that one time he tweeted about how Trump was demoralizing line prosecutors and undermining the rule of law, and you can find more of his tweets on his Twitter page.

Meanwhile, conservative influencer Laura Loomer is over here calling for Schleifer to be fired because he’s a “Trump hater” who supported the impeachment of President Trump – I mean, come on, can’t we all just get along, and if you want to learn more about Laura Loomer, you can check out her book on Amazon, or read her posts on X.

And, by the way, have you seen Trump’s latest Truth Social post where he’s ranting about the Department of Justice being politicized and announcing that he’s going to “clean house” and fire all the remaining “Biden Era” US Attorneys – it’s like, dude, you’re the one who’s politicizing the justice system, and you can find more of his posts on his Truth Social page, or read about it on the NBC News website.

But, I guess that’s just the world we live in now, where the rule of law is just a suggestion and the president can fire anyone he wants for any reason – it’s like, what’s next, are we going to start purging the judiciary of all the “leftist Trump haters” too, and if you want to learn more about the judiciary, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the US Courts website.

And, can someone please explain to me why we’re still talking about Trump’s tax plan in 2025 – I mean, hasn’t that horse been beaten to death already, and you can find more information about the tax plan on the IRS website, or read about it on the CNN Politics website.

Anyway, I guess what I’m trying to say is that this whole thing is just a big mess, and we need to start holding our leaders accountable for their actions – or lack thereof, and if you want to learn more about how to get involved, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the Brennan Center for Justice website.

But, hey, what do I know, I’m just a frustrated, over-caffeinated person ranting on the internet – maybe you should just take my opinions with a grain of salt and do your own research, and if you want to learn more about the topic, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the Politico website.

And, finally, if you’re as fed up as I am with the state of our justice system, then maybe it’s time for us to start making some noise – whether that’s by contacting our representatives, participating in peaceful protests, or just plain old-fashioned ranting on the internet, and if you want to learn more about how to get involved, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the ACLU website.

But, I mean, let’s be real, it’s not like anything is actually going to change – I mean, we’ve been saying the same thing for years, and yet, here we are, still dealing with the same old nonsense, and if you want to learn more about the history of the justice system, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the History website.

And, on a completely unrelated note, has anyone else noticed how ridiculous it is that we’re still using email as a primary means of communication in 2025 – I mean, can’t we just switch to something better already, like maybe something on Amazon, or read about it on the Wired website.

But, I guess that’s a rant for another time – for now, let’s just focus on the issue at hand, which is the blatant disregard for the rule of law and the politicization of our justice system, and if you want to learn more about the topic, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the Brookings Institution website.

And, finally, I just want to say that I’m exhausted – mentally, emotionally, and physically – from dealing with all this nonsense, and if you want to learn more about self-care, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the Mindful website.

But, hey, at least we can all take comfort in the fact that we’re not alone in this frustration – there are millions of people out there who are just as fed up as we are, and if you want to learn more about how to connect with others, you can check out the books on Amazon, or read about it on the HuffPost website.
