Jon Stewart Loses Mind: Why Won’t Democrats Stop My Grandma from Investing Entire Pension in Dogecoin

4 Min Read

And can you believe it, Jon Stewart is finally saying what we’re all thinking – Democrats are dropping the ball, and it’s making him (and me, and probably you too) incredibly frustrated! I mean, what’s going on here, are they just going to sit back and let Elon Musk run amok with his DOGE shenanigans? (Can someone please explain to me why we’re still talking about DOGE, by the way?)

But let’s get back to the issue at hand – Jon Stewart is mad, and rightfully so, because ordinary people are being forced to oppose Elon Musk’s antics, instead of their representatives doing their job. I mean, isn’t that what we elect them for? To, you know, represent us? (Like, what’s the point of even having representatives if they’re just going to sit back and do nothing?) And don’t even get me started on politics books that claim to have all the answers – trust me, they don’t.

And have you seen the criticism Elon Musk is facing over his DOGE tweets? It’s like, finally, people are starting to see the light. But, of course, there are still those who think he’s some kind of genius (newsflash: he’s not). I mean, come on, the guy is basically just a real-life supervillain, minus the cool lair and witty one-liners. (Although, if he does have a cool lair, I want to see it – that would be kind of awesome, I guess.)

But, in all seriousness, Jon Stewart has a point – we need to hold our representatives accountable for their actions (or lack thereof). And maybe, just maybe, we should be watching what they’re doing a bit more closely, instead of just blindly trusting them to do the right thing. I mean, it’s not like they have a trust issue or anything (oh wait, they totally do).

And let’s talk about the real issue here – the fact that Elon Musk is basically just doing whatever he wants, without any regard for the consequences. I mean, it’s like he’s playing a game of simulator or something, and we’re all just along for the ride. (Can someone please hit the reset button already?) But, in all fairness, maybe we should be looking at this from a different perspective – maybe Elon Musk is actually a genius, and we’re just too dumb to see it. (Just kidding, that’s not a thing – or is it?)

But, I digress. The point is, Jon Stewart is right – we need to be mad about this, and we need to be doing something about it. So, what are we waiting for? Let’s get out there and make some noise, or at the very least, let’s make some funny protest signs. I mean, it’s not like it’s going to change the world or anything, but hey, at least we’ll have some fun doing it. (And who knows, maybe we’ll even get some free snacks out of it.)

And, finally, let’s talk about the elephant in the room – the fact that we’re even still talking about DOGE in the first place. I mean, can’t we just move on to something else? Like, I don’t know, Bitcoin or something? (Just kidding, that’s not a thing – or is it?) But seriously, can we please just move on from this DOGE nonsense already? It’s getting old. (Like, really old – old news kind of old.)
