MAGA Martyr Jesse Watters Victims Himself After DOGE Cuts Leave Him Penniless and Forced to Eat Non-Organic Avocado Toast

5 Min Read

And, of course, because the universe loves a good joke, Fox News host Jesse Watters is now bemoaning the DOGE cuts that are impacting him personally – you know, the same cuts he’s been promoting on his show (because hypocrisy is just a word, right?).

But let’s get this straight: Watters is only upset because his sister works at Johns Hopkins University, which just so happens to be one of the many institutions affected by the Trump administration’s cuts to international aid programs (great job, Donald Trump!). I mean, who needs international aid programs when you have, uh, Twitter?

On Thursday evening’s episode of Jesse Watters Primetime, the host (once again) praised Trump, Elon Musk, and the newly-formed Department of Government Efficiency for making massive cuts to federal programs to curtail what they believe is “waste, fraud and abuse” (you know, the usual buzzwords).

And, of course, Watters had to go and make it all about his family, saying it would be “a whole family thing” to deal with the fallout over the weekend (because, clearly, his sister’s job is the real victim here, not the thousands of people who are actually losing their jobs due to these cuts). But, I guess when you’re a Fox News host, you’ve got to keep it in the family, right?

But, in all seriousness (for a moment), the DOGE cuts have been targeted at federal funding of international aid programs, which has left many colleges and universities without funding for research programs, resulting in layoffs – including at Johns Hopkins University, where Watters’s sister works (because, of course, it’s all about him). Nearly half of the university’s revenue comes from federally-funded research, so it’s not like this is just a minor setback or anything.

And then, there’s Elon Musk, who’s informally leading DOGE to make cuts to federal funding as Trump looks to shrink the federal budget (because, you know, small government is just a myth, right?). I mean, who needs federal programs when you have SpaceX?

Now, Watters is adding his sister to the list of people he knows who are facing negative consequences as a result of the Trump administration’s cuts (because, you know, it’s not like he’s been warned about this before). And, let’s be real, if Watters is only now realizing the consequences of his actions, then maybe he should just stick to Twitter (where he can just tweet about how much he loves Donald Trump without actually having to think about the consequences of his actions).

But, hey, at least Watters is consistent, right? I mean, who needs consistency when you’ve got ratings? And, let’s be real, if Watters can just keep on talking about how much he loves Trump, then maybe he’ll just be able to talk his way out of this one (or, you know, just blame someone else for his mistakes).

And, finally, let’s just take a moment to appreciate the sheer audacity of Watters’s actions (because, let’s be real, it’s not like he’s actually apologizing for anything). I mean, who needs integrity when you can just make excuses for your actions? But, hey, at least Watters is good for a laugh, right?

But, in all seriousness, the DOGE cuts are a serious issue that affects many people’s lives, and it’s not something to be taken lightly. So, let’s just take a moment to read more about the issue and try to understand the consequences of our actions (because, let’s be real, ignorance is not bliss).

And, finally, let’s just say that if you’re looking for a good book to read on the topic of politics, then maybe you should check out this (because, let’s be real, knowledge is power, and we could all use a little more of that these days).
