Nova Scotia has announced a series of measures in response to American tariffs on Canadian goods. The province will limit access to provincial procurement for American businesses and double tolls at the Cobequid Pass for commercial vehicles from the United States.
The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation will also remove all U.S.-made alcohol from shelves, effective immediately, as a response to the tariffs. Premier Tim Houston called the measures significant, emphasizing the importance of Nova Scotians standing together.
