The Solidarity Movement recently met with senior Trump administration officials in Washington DC to discuss diplomatic relations between the US and South Africa. A memorandum was handed to the Trump administration, outlining the Movement’s concerns and recommendations.
The Movement is urging the US not to punish South Africa, but rather to pressure ANC leaders to address issues such as expropriation, racial laws, and calls for violence against Afrikaners. The Movement is also seeking humanitarian aid and recognition of the Afrikaner community’s right to cultural autonomy.
