Hundreds of thousands gathered in Beirut for the funeral of slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and his successor Hashem Safieddine, killed by the IDF five months ago. The crowd chanted “Death to America, and death to Israel” as the coffins were brought into the stadium.
The IDF confirmed strikes against Hezbollah targets in South Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley after cease-fire agreement violations. Defense Minister Israel Katz said the Israeli Air Force flyover was a show of force, delivering a clear message: “anyone who threatens Israel will meet this end.”
