Trump Supporter Loses Job to Dogecoin Overlord, Claims ‘Rufus the AI Dog’ is Trying to Make America Howl Again

5 Min Read

I am just so done with the Donald Trump administration, you know?
I mean, can you believe they’re laying off thousands of IRS workers, including one guy who actually voted for Trump (the guy’s books are still selling, though).
But, apparently, that’s not enough to save your job if you’re a probationary employee with less than a year of service.

And then there’s this quote from Robert McCabe, the guy who got laid off: “I believe there is a lot of stuff in the government that needs fixing.”
Well, yeah, no kidding, but I’m not sure laying off thousands of people is the way to do it (check out this article for more on that).
It’s like, come on, if you’re going to “drain the swamp,” can’t you at least do it in a way that doesn’t involve destroying people’s lives?

I mean, what’s next, are they going to lay off all the Elon Musk fans too?
The guy’s a genius, don’t get me wrong (have you seen his books?), but running the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) like a wrecking ball isn’t exactly the most efficient way to get things done.
And, just a side note, has anyone else noticed how many books on government there are out there?

But, I guess that’s just the way the cookie crumbles when you’re dealing with an administration that’s more interested in cutting costs than actually helping people.
I mean, what’s the point of having a government if you’re just going to lay off all the people who are trying to make it work?
And don’t even get me started on the whole “intensified efforts to shrink the size of the federal workforce” thing – it’s like, hello, we’re already understaffed, can’t you just leave us alone?

And, by the way, has anyone noticed how much tax-related stuff is out there?
I mean, I know it’s not the most exciting topic, but come on, it’s like, the IRS is trying to collect taxes and stuff, and then the administration comes along and lays off all the people who are actually doing the work.
It’s like, what’s the point of even having a tax system if you’re not going to enforce it?

But, I guess that’s just the way it goes when you’re dealing with Trump and his minions.
They’re all about cutting costs and “draining the swamp,” but really, they’re just making a mess and hurting a lot of people in the process.
And, just to clarify, I’m not saying that all politics books are bad, but come on, can’t we just have a functional government for once?

Anyway, I guess what I’m trying to say is that this whole situation is just a big mess, and I’m not sure how it’s all going to play out.
But, hey, at least we can all buy some books on tax season and try to make sense of it all.
And, just a side note, if you’re looking for a government job, maybe don’t apply to the IRS right now.

I mean, can you believe that the IRS has roughly 90,000 employees total across the United States?
And, apparently, racial minorities make up 56% of the IRS workforce, and women represent 65%.
But, hey, who needs diversity when you can just lay off a bunch of people and call it a day?

But, in all seriousness, this whole situation is just a big government scandal waiting to happen.
I mean, what’s next, are they going to lay off all the Elon Musk fans too?
The guy’s a genius, don’t get me wrong, but running the DOGE like a wrecking ball isn’t exactly the most efficient way to get things done.
And, just a side note, has anyone else noticed how many books on government there are out there?

And, finally, I just want to say that I’m so done with all of this.
I mean, can’t we just have a functional government for once?
Is that too much to ask?
I guess so, because apparently, we’re just stuck with Trump and his minions running the show.
But, hey, at least we can all buy some books on politics and try to make sense of it all.
