The United States is reportedly opposing the labeling of Russia as an aggressor in a joint G7 statement marking the third anniversary of Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.
The US is also blocking the participation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a virtual G7 summit, with challenges in approving the statement likely linked to recent shifts in the White House’s policy towards Moscow.
