Trump Administration Decides Hurricanes are ‘Fake News’, Denies Relief to Georgia Because ‘They’re Probably Just Looking for an Excuse to Have a Peach Party’

3 Min Read

And can you believe it, folks, the Trump administration has actually denied an extension for hurricane relief in Georgia, because, you know, they’re just FEMA experts or something (not). But I mean, who needs help after a devastating hurricane, right? It’s not like people are suffering or anything.

And let’s be real, the hurricane relief efforts in Georgia were already a mess, and now this denial is just the cherry on top (or should I say, the hurricane on top of a hurricane?). But hey, at least the Trump administration is consistent in their inconsistency, right? I mean, who needs consistency when you can have chaos and destruction?

But seriously, have you seen the news lately? It’s like the Trump administration is trying to outdo themselves in a game of “who can be the most heartless.” And I’m not even kidding, it’s like they’re competing in some sort of twisted reality TV show, where the prize is the destruction of the most lives. (By the way, has anyone seen my coffee maker? I think I left it in the kitchen… or was it the living room? Ugh, I need more caffeine to deal with this administration).

And don’t even get me started on the FEMA budget, which is apparently being used for other purposes (cough, cough, Trump’s wall, cough, cough). But hey, who needs hurricane relief when you can build a wall, right? I mean, it’s not like that wall is going to, you know, harm the environment or anything (oh wait, it will). And by the way, has anyone seen the environmental impact report for that wall? Just wondering…

But I digress, back to the hurricane relief debacle in Georgia. So, apparently, the Trump administration thinks that Georgia can just, you know, magically recover from the hurricane without any help. And I’m like, “Uh, hello? Have you seen the news lately?” I mean, it’s not like the hurricane just, you know, skipped over Georgia or something (oh wait, it didn’t). And by the way, has anyone seen my weather radio? I think I need to stay informed about the next hurricane (or Trump administration decision).

And can we talk about the hypocrisy of it all? I mean, the Trump administration is all about small government, except when it comes to helping their friends, of course. Then it’s all about big government intervention (but only for their buddies, naturally). But hey, who needs consistency when you can have politics, right? And by the way, has anyone seen my politics dictionary? I think I need to look up the definition of hypocrisy again…
